RHINO 

Surfaces + Lines
Terms = command language

Poly surfaces - solid, a continued closed surface which has no breaks or gaps

Poly line - continuous line verses lines which meet, yet are segmented

Curve - continuous line
 

Commands/Notes

Tip
When you Jump from dimension to dimension Rhino leaves traces  of the first dimension bu copying the content to make the conversion. These traces are called profile. The profiles reside below the form.

 Changing grid command>options

making 3d objects from curves
when drawing curves- holding shift will make the line 'ortho' meaning straight

to transform/edit curves select CONTROL POINT

Revolve - converts curves from 2d to 3d, rotating on an axis

Offset the surface > command:offset then to make it solid >command option solid > type thickness

Curves from solids > project

creating surfaces + solids from multiple curves

Draw curves  > loft them > align the curves in the options 

LOFT - turns multiple lines into a surface

OFFSET - (offset surface> solid) gives surface depth making it into a solid


When drawing curves if you hold control while drawing points the line will travel along the z axis

Extruding closed curves = solid

Ghosted view- right click perspective

-Line/ Curve drawing - space bar to finish drawing
   - to cap these sorts of curves surface>patch then there will be a dialogue about the detail intensity.

lighting effect - for interior views
